Different types of flooring in a building - Will one floor scrubber clean all of them?
Your floors, clean floors, are important to the look of your building. But what happens when you're trying to clean multiple types of flooring? For instance, maybe you have ceramic tile in one area, VCT Tile in another, and concrete in a warehouse. Will one floor scrubber clean all those different types of flooring, and clean them well?
Let's look at the VCT Tile floor first. Generally with this type of flooring, a pad driver is the best choice. Different colors of pads can be used with a pad driver's white and red pads for cleaning purposes and then darker colors such as black or brown when it's time to strip and wax the floors.
What if I have ceramic tile in my facility? A softer bristle brush is generally better to use with an auto scrubber when cleaning ceramic tile. This way, grout lines sitting lower than the tile can be cleaned. This uneven space between the tiles becomes dark, dirty, and stained without regular cleaning.
Concrete maintenance. Cleaning concrete requires courser brushes. These can be put onto your scrubber to clean bare concrete such as in a warehouse. If you have polished concrete, pad drivers or very soft brushes would be a better option.
